They were burned at the stake because, they went against the rule of Mary. He was confident that they were doing the right thing because he thought that god gave home this task to do so. It is important to remind people of this because it might someday happen again. The images may have inspired Bradbury because he saw this as a major form of censorship and was against it.i think it is wrong because the people that were blamed for communism weren't always in the wrong.i think it can happen cuz people are always judged based off of what the people do around them.i don't think he liked the idea of government telling people what they liked and what they diddent like.

Clarisse always talked to montag about the past and how things were so much better back then. Clarisse didn't really didn't know and she didn't live back then but her grandfather always told her about it and many stories. Clarisse once told montag that back then everyone had front porches, gardens, and rocking chairs. These all actually have two things in common. They help you to see the little things and get you thinking when your sitting in a rocking chair you relax and when you relax you get to thinking about stuff. Front porches are also a place to rest. Front porches let you look outside and watch your your surroundings, admire the little things. Gardens are a place where you plant stuff. You do it by hand though not a machine. Every plant starts from a seed. That's a really little thing thing so you can also admire how something so beautiful starts off as a little dull boring seed. The government or whoever in in charge of this society had all of these things removed from every house so you couldn't think or enjoy the little things. In this society no one ever thinks about things or "thinks outside the box". Also in this society everything moves so fast that no one as time to enjoy the little things. If anybody thinks outside the box and enjoy the little things get punished. Whenever Clarisse thought a lot and asked questions in school people thought something was wrong with her. If no one can think then the government or whoever rules this place has complete control.

Mildred was having friends over for movie night. None of them knew montag had books except for Mildred. At first montag started to talk to all the girls and ask them questions about there families.he asked about there husbands were doing and about there kids if they had any. Montag and one of Mildred's friends started arguing. He asked them what they think of poetry. One of Mildred's friends said all poetry does is make you sad and miserable. So montag wanted to prove them wrong. He brought out a poem called "Dover beach". All the girls were horrified that he had a book. He soon calmed them down and read them the poem. The one friend that said all poems do is make you sad was crying a lot. She was crying because it got her thinking about her life. All the other girls including Mildred were very mad at montag. They all started saying mean things to him about books. So that made montag also angry and he kicked all the girls out of the house. Mildred was also very mad at him and she diddent know what to do. She wanted to move out of the house and never see montag again. Montag just couldn't understand why they all responded that way. He was hoping they would open up there eyes and realize how messed up their society was. Instead they responded like that and montag lost his wife. They also did another thing that he diddent know about. They set off an alarm letting Beatty know he had books in his house and they had proof.

The firemen in this story are different from the ones we have today. The ones we have today fight fires the ones in the book create them. How they create such fires is by burning books. For a punishment of having a book is that they would burn your house down. If u couldn't get out fast enough you would burn too. When he meets Clarisse he finds out that the job he was doing as a firefighter wasn't good. He learns that firefighters used to fight fires instead of create them.
